A secondary SEN school in Manchester is currently looking for teachers to start in new full-time positions with immediate start dates. The school works with students who have special educational needs and require additional support within the classroom. All students are working at a level below average for their age group, so may need resources adapting to suit their needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective lessons that meet the needs of the students you are working with
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for each student
- Work alongside other staff to create comprehensive support plans for students
- Track student development and feed this back to parents, carers and other staff
For this role you should
- Have QTS or extensive teaching experience
- Have experience teaching and supporting students with a range of different additional needs
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be confident in planning and developing lessons to suit the individual needs of students
- Be available full time
