We are working with several secondary schools across South Manchester who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Maths Teachers to join them from September 2026 on a flexible, day to day basis, with the opportunity to move into long term and permanent roles where appropriate. This is an ideal opportunity for fully qualified maths teachers looking for flexibility, varied school environments, and the chance to secure more consistent work over time.
The Role
- Delivering Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may also be available)
- Providing high quality teaching on a short term and ad-hoc basis
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Following school policies and maintaining strong classroom management
- Opportunities to transition into long term cover or permanent positions
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (or be on track to obtain it)
- Have strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Maths
- Be adaptable and comfortable working across different school settings
- Demonstrate effective behaviour management skills
- Be reliable, flexible, and professional
