Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a wide range of secondary schools in Trafford, including Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston, Timperley, Trafford Park, and nearby locations. This role is ideal for individuals with prior school-based experience who are confident supervising classes, managing behaviour, and maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.
About the Role – Cover Supervisor
As a Cover Supervisor, you will support schools during short-term staff absences on a day-to-day basis, ensuring continuity of learning and minimal disruption in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons set by the class teacher
- Supervising whole classes across KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Keeping students focused, engaged, and on task
- Providing support to pupils where required
- Gaining valuable experience across a variety of subjects and year groups
