Are you a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's educational journey? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Firswood from September. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs
- Adapt classroom activities to meet the individual needs of the child
- Support academic, social, emotional and behavioural development
- Implement strategies outlined within EHCPs and personalised learning plans
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEND professionals to monitor progress
- Encourage confidence, independence and active participation in learning
- Foster a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil and their family
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Record observations and provide regular feedback to the wider school team
About You
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a school or specialist setting
- Knowledge of needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for inclusion and helping children succeed
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
