A comprehensive secondary school in Leeds is seeking an enthusiastic Male PE Teacher. The role will involve teaching a combination of boys' PE, mixed-gender groups, and active involvement in extracurricular sports clubs. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong classroom management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Work independently with a high degree of initiative while contributing effectively to a collaborative PE faculty. Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential, fostering both participation and performance in physical education. Organise and participate in extracurricular clubs and sports fixtures, contributing to the wider school community. Utilise excellent organisational and ICT skills to support teaching and learning. Ideal Candidate: Specialism in a key sport such as football, basketball, or another core sport. Ability to teach a second subject or offer additional support in other areas of the curriculum. Commitment to extracurricular activities, with a focus on boys' sports and inclusive physical education. Enthusiasm for teaching boys' PE and mixed groups, supporting a diverse range of abilities.
