Looking for a part-time teaching role where you can make a genuine difference? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Maghull to recruit a dedicated Reception Teacher for a three-day-per-week role (Wednesday to Friday).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate EYFS practitioner who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and understands the importance of giving every child the best possible start to their education. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with additional needs and be confident adapting their teaching to ensure every pupil can thrive.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Create a nurturing classroom where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to learn.
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including pupils with SEND.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and parents to ensure every child receives the support they need.
  • Assess progress effectively and celebrate each child's achievements.

We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • A good understanding of SEND and strategies to support children with additional needs.
  • A patient, creative and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
