Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing nursery setting in Lytham St Annes to recruit a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team that is passionate about supporting children's learning and development during the most important stages of their early education journey.

The successful candidate will work with children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children's development through play-based learning, contribute to a positive nursery environment, and help deliver high-quality care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities.
  • Promoting children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed at all times.

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Is warm, patient, and able to build positive relationships with young children.
  • Works effectively as part of a team.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting is desirable.

Essential Qualification Requirement

A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare is essential for this role. The nursery is seeking a practitioner who can confidently support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years while helping to deliver high-quality care and education in accordance with the EYFS framework.
