Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Lymington Location: Lymington, Hampshire Contract: Full-Time Start Date: Immediate Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Supporting Pupils with SEND Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming school in Lymington seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide consistent support to pupils with additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, compassionate and confident supporting children who may require additional help with communication, learning, behaviour or emotional regulation. The Role You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team to: Provide 1:1 and small-group support Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs Help pupils access classroom learning Encourage communication and independence Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Build trusting relationships with pupils Support classroom activities and interventions Assist pupils throughout the school day Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment We're Looking For The successful candidate will be: Patient and empathetic Calm and consistent Resilient and reliable Confident working with children and young people A strong communicator Passionate about inclusive education Able to work effectively as part of a wider team Previous experience supporting children with SEND, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs would be advantageous.
