Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Lowestoft, Suffolk Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Term-Time Positions Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential? We are currently seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a range of welcoming and inclusive schools across Lowestoft and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils both individually and in small groups. Responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning activities. Working one-to-one with children who require additional support. Assisting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs. Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning. Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development. Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation. What We're Looking For We would love to hear from candidates who: Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people. Are patient, supportive and resilient. Have strong communication and teamwork skills. Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Are adaptable and confident working in a school environment. Have previous experience in education, childcare, care, youth work or support work (desirable but not essential).
