We work in partnership with inclusive and nurturing primary mainstream and specialist schools across Long Eaton, Derbyshire, supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs and creating structured learning environments where every child can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary settings
- Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs both inside and outside the classroom
- Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and positive routines
- Support emotional regulation and encourage engagement in learning
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide consistent support and care
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
- Background in care, youth work, education, or mental health support
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Builds positive relationships quickly and maintains a calm, consistent approach
