We are working in partnership with inclusive and supportive specialist schools in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, that are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. These schools are committed to creating nurturing learning environments where pupils with additional needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
  • Monitor and assess pupil development, adapting teaching strategies where required.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and promote an inclusive learning culture.

Qualifications

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs or a genuine passion for SEN education.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is patient, compassionate, and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
