We are working in partnership with inclusive and supportive specialist schools in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, that are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
- Monitor and assess pupil development, adapting teaching strategies where required.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and promote an inclusive learning culture.
Qualifications
- Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs or a genuine passion for SEN education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is patient, compassionate, and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
