A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tooting is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Down syndrome currently in Nursery. About the Role
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and wider support staff to provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day. The focus will be on supporting the child’s learning, communication, and social development within a nurturing and structured environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing consistent 1:1 support within the Nursery setting
- Supporting communication, interaction and engagement in activities
