A thriving secondary school in Clapham is seeking a talented and experienced Mandarin (Chinese) Teacher to join their team for Autumn Term 1, with the possibility of the role continuing into Autumn Term 2. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist language teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Mandarin lessons and helping students achieve their full potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Mandarin lessons to secondary-aged students, creating a positive learning environment and supporting excellent student progress.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications (QTS, PGCE or equivalent).
  • Have proven experience teaching Mandarin/Chinese within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of successful classroom teaching and positive student outcomes.
  • Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons.
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.

What We're Looking For

We are specifically seeking a qualified Mandarin specialist teacher. This is not a Cover Supervisor position, and applicants should have recent experience teaching Mandarin/Chinese to secondary school students.
