Are you a reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible day-to-day work supporting pupils across schools in South West London? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a variety of primary and secondary schools who regularly require Teaching Assistants for short-notice and pre-booked daily cover, supporting pupils and teaching staff in the classroom. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, flexibility, and working in different school environments.
About the Role
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a day-to-day basis
- Working alongside teachers to help deliver lessons
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support where required
- Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines
- Opportunities across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, Richmond, and surrounding areas
- Day-to-day and short-term bookings available
- Ideal for candidates open to early-morning calls for same-day work
- Full-time and part-time flexibility
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
- A calm, supportive, and proactive approach
- Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last-minute bookings

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
