We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with autism and associated social and communication needs. This is a rewarding part-time opportunity where you will play a key role in supporting the emotional wellbeing, behavioural development, and independence of young people aged 7-19.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), you will assess psychological needs and deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions. You will also help embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches across the setting, ensuring consistent and effective support for all students.
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised support plans
- Deliver one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions
- Support the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support strategies
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Provide guidance, consultation, and training to staff and families
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise Assistant Psychologists where appropriate
