Job Overview – Secondary Teaching Assistant:
  • Upbeat and encouraging attitude when assisting pupils with basic classroom activities.

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Confidence to engage and maintain pupils’ concentration.
  • A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach with strong communication skills, and the ability to engage positively and effectively with students and teachers.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Patience, calmness, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
