We are looking for a Fluent Welsh Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and supportive school in the Llanelli area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning in a Welsh-medium setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work with pupils across the school, providing support in the classroom, small groups, and occasionally on a 1:1 basis. You will help learners access the curriculum, develop confidence, and reach their full potential—all through the Welsh language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning through fluent Welsh
  • Assist pupils with classwork, activities, and engagement
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

  • Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

  • LSA/TA qualifications are desirable but not essential
