Teaching Personnel is recruiting an experienced School Caretaker to support a welcoming primary school in the L6 area of Liverpool on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a reliable and proactive individual with previous caretaker experience within a school or similar setting.

Role details

  • Location: Liverpool L6
  • Duration: ASAP start until 28th August 2026
  • Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay: £15.00 per hour (£562.50 per week)

Key responsibilities

  • Opening and securing the school site
  • General maintenance and basic repairs
  • Health & safety checks and compliance
  • Site security and cleanliness
  • Supporting with day-to-day premises management

Requirements

  • Previous caretaker, site manager, or maintenance experience (ideally within a school setting)
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Must be willing to apply for (or already hold) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
