EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3+) – Nursery Setting West Derby, Liverpool (L13) Full-Time | September Start

Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.00 per day (DOE)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the West Derby (L13) area of Liverpool, who are seeking a qualified Level 3 (or above) EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within their nursery provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in children’s development during their formative years.

The Role

  • Supporting the class teacher across a busy nursery setting within a primary school
  • Delivering high-quality support in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assisting with planning and leading engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observing, tracking, and reporting on children’s progress
  • Supporting personal care routines where required
  • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years (essential for staff ratio requirements)
  • Has recent experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing
  • Patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
