Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and early education to young children? Do you have a nurturing and supportive approach? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a welcoming nursery in Everton (L3) as a Nursery Practitioner.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within a dedicated team. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help create a caring and enriching environment for all children. Your duties will include supporting age-appropriate activities, assisting during mealtimes, meeting personal care needs, and promoting an inclusive and positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Observe and track children’s development, recording progress and key milestones
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring clear communication
  • Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment at all times
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing, offering comfort and encouragement where needed
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create an inspiring learning environment

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
  • Previous experience within a nursery or childcare setting is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and its practical application
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. We are committed to promoting a healthy work–life balance and offer a supportive working environment.
