About the RoleYou will work closely with one pupil in Year 6, providing 1:1 support that helps them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in their final year of primary school. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, encouraging, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support during lessons
- Implementing strategies from the child’s SEN support plan
- Supporting emotional regulation, confidence‑building, and independence
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo
- Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and engagement
- Helping the pupil prepare smoothly for the transition to secondary school
