Key Responsibilities

  • Identify pupils who would benefit from additional academic support.
  • Plan and deliver effective intervention programmes for individuals and small groups.
  • Work closely with class teachers to ensure interventions align with classroom learning.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to support pupil progress.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of interventions, adapting approaches where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering interventions or targeted support within a school setting.
  • A strong understanding of effective intervention strategies and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and external professionals.
  • A patient, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
