The Role

As an Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to assess needs and monitor progress

  • Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have recent experience delivering interventions in a primary school setting
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths
  • Be confident working with small groups and on a one‑to‑one basis
  • Be organised, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Be passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
