We are recruiting on behalf of respected secondary schools across Liverpool, part of a highly regarded multi-academy trust, for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with UK-based school or youth activity experience to support students’ learning, gain further classroom exposure, and join a friendly and collaborative school community.
We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors, qualified teachers exploring new options, and individuals who want to progress their careers within UK education settings. This role offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on local schools.
- Keep students focused, engaged, and on task during teacher absence
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Qualified Teachers looking for flexible or alternative classroom roles, PGCE or teacher training applicants wanting further school experience, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) building confidence and classroom management skills, and individuals with UK-based youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or school support experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience working with children or young people in the UK (essential), for example in schools, clubs, sports coaching, youth organisations, is required. A degree or strong academic background is also necessary, along with a proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider school community.
