About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5 where applicable). Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to fulfil the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and Teachers’ Standards, including but not limited to:
- Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons (KS3 & KS4) that engage, motivate and challenge students.
- Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of students and promote excellent progress.
- Use assessment effectively to track progress, provide constructive feedback and report on pupils’ achievements.

- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and uphold the school’s behaviour policy.
