Are you a passionate and caring Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Liskeard and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across different school settings and year groups while making a real difference to children's educational journeys.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs. Assignments may vary from school to school, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. You may support pupils with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education

Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential if you can demonstrate suitable experience and a strong commitment to supporting children.
