A well-regarded secondary school in Leyland is seeking an adaptable and motivated FE-qualified Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from 23rd February, continuing until at least the end of the academic year.
About the Role
The school is looking for a teacher with experience in Further Education who can bring their skills to a KS3/KS4 environment. You will deliver engaging sessions, support learners’ progress and contribute to a positive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Adapt FE-level teaching skills to meet the needs of secondary learners
- Support students with varying abilities, ensuring inclusive and differentiated practice
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with the department and wider school staff
- Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards and behaviour expectations
About You
- FE teaching qualification (PGCE Post-Compulsory, CertEd or equivalent)
- Experience delivering engaging lessons and supporting diverse learners
- Strong communication, organisation and behaviour-management skills
