Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with children in EYFS (Reception) at a school in Dukinfield. A friendly and nurturing primary school located in the Tameside area (SK16) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This position focuses on providing stimulating and meaningful learning opportunities to children in Early Years. Initially offered as a temporary role with an immediate start, there is strong potential for it to extend into a long-term position to support the development of pupils in the current cohorts.

Location: Tameside SK16 (Dukinfield)

Job Type: Full-time, 8.30am-3.30pm (long-term opportunity)

Salary: £92.63-£100 per day

Start date: ASAP April 2026

What Does the Role Entail?

  • Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO to develop and adjust learning approaches, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons and activities.
  • Independently lead targeted small group or one-to-one sessions to reinforce understanding.
