Level 3 Practitioner/Room Lead

We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery in Finchampstead, Wokingham. The Role

• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, ensuring compliance with nursery policies and staff-to-child ratios.
• Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times, completing risk assessments, hazard logs, and relevant paperwork as required.
• Support the settling-in process for new children, working closely with parents, carers, and team members to ensure a smooth and positive transition.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting (essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A Paediatric First Aid qualification, or willingness to undertake the training.
