Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Location: Blackpool
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact in a child’s early development? A welcoming primary school in Blackpool is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated EYFS team this September.

About the Role:

You’ll be working alongside the class teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. This is a full-time role during term time, ideal for someone who is passionate about early education and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assist in planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate activities
  • Help maintain a secure and welcoming classroom environment
  • Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with teaching staff
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
