Responsibilities
- Support pupils in class on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Help pupils stay engaged, confident and motivated
- Support children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs (depending on placement)
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
What we are looking for
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or education setting
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
