The Role:
- We’re working with a range of schools across Leicester who are keen to support people new to education.
- As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers to support children’s learning, confidence and wellbeing.
You’ll be:
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who may need a little extra support
- Helping to create a calm and positive learning environment
- Encouraging, listening and guiding – just like you would in many other support-based roles
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
