Teaching Assistant is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic EYFS-trained Teaching Assistants on behalf of our clients across a range of nursery and school settings. We are looking for reliable, caring, and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children in their early years development. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking flexible or ongoing work while making a positive impact within Early Years environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers and nursery staff in delivering activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Assist children with learning, play, and developmental activities
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational progress
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and setting policies at all times
Minimum Requirements (Essential):
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent
- Recent Paediatric First Aid certification/training
- Recent experience working within an EYFS setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
Desirable:
- Level 3 qualification or above
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
