The Role

  • Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines where required.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, and development at all times.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential).
  • Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred).
  • Have previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting.
  • Have a sound understanding of the EYFS Framework.
  • Are caring, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young children.
  • Have, or are willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
