Teaching Personnel are recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across Leeds. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or move into education — no formal qualifications are required.

We’re looking for the right attitude and a genuine interest in working with children. Previous experience in schools, childcare, sports coaching, youth work, or care settings is highly valued.

You’ll support pupils’ learning and engagement across the school day, working one-to-one and in small groups, and assisting teachers in creating a positive learning environment.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support
  • Support pupils to stay focused and engaged
  • Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes
  • Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents/carers

Experience working with children or young people is desirable. Qualifications in childcare or education are a bonus, not essential.
