The Role

  • Teach practical cooking skills alongside food science and nutrition
  • Promote health, safety, and hygiene in a practical learning environment
  • Encourage creativity, independence, and confidence in the kitchen
  • Support the wider Design & Technology department as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or Food Preparation & Nutrition
  • Confident managing practical lessons and food safety procedures
  • Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about teaching
  • Recent experience teaching Food Technology in UK secondary schools
