We are seeking a confident and compassionate SEN Cover Supervisor to join a special needs school in Leatherhead, Surrey, supporting students with autism, communication needs, dyslexia, and anxiety-related barriers to learning.

In this role, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development in a structured and nurturing environment.

  • Provide individual and small group support to students with SEN
  • Support behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to support student progress

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above)
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom supervision skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Level 2/3 TA or Cover Supervisor training is desirable
