Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Support Practitioner to work within a warm, forward-thinking primary school team. This is a hands-on, purposeful role that is deeply rewarding. What You’ll Be Doing As A Learning Support Practitioner:
- Working alongside the class teacher to support whole-class learning
- Supporting behaviour for learning and promoting positive routines
- Preparing resources, setting up activities, and contributing to a calm, purposeful classroom atmosphere
- Working closely with pupils who have ALN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social-emotional challenges
- Helping pupils regulate, focus, and engage
- Creating a supportive, encouraging environment where children can practise skills at their own pace
- Building trusting relationships that help children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn
