Teaching Personnel is seeking committed and nurturing Learning Support Assistants to work within Primary SEN schools across the Andover area. This position involves supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them engage in learning and develop socially and emotionally within a positive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering classroom support to pupils with SEN
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Promoting pupil wellbeing, confidence, and independence
- Supporting behaviour management strategies where required
Candidate Requirements
- Enthusiastic and patient approach to working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in education, care, or support settings is desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Compliance
Candidates must have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to obtain one prior to employment.
