An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic KS3 Land & Environment Teacher / Forest School Lead to join a forward‑thinking educational setting. This role offers the chance to deliver a practical, engaging curriculum for pupils aged 11–14, combining classroom teaching with outdoor, land‑based and Forest School learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality KS3 curriculum learning through environmental and outdoor contexts
- Work collaboratively to develop a progressive Forest School and land‑based programme
- Inspire pupils through hands‑on, experiential learning
- Support inclusion, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
- Maintain excellent standards of health & safety and safeguarding
Person Specification
- QTS or relevant KS3 teaching experience
- Forest School Level 3 qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
- A passion for outdoor learning, sustainability, and land‑based education
- Strong behaviour management and inclusive practice
- Experience working within SEND/SEMH or alternative provision (desirable but not essential)
