Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Lancaster to recruit an enthusiastic and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to help create an engaging, safe and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils within the EYFS classroom.
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities.
- Encouraging children's social, emotional and academic development.
- Supporting pupils during classroom activities, play-based learning and routines throughout the school day.
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an EYFS, nursery, childcare or school setting is desirable.
- A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
