Due to the high demand for Early Career Teachers to start long term roles in September 2026, Teaching Personnel are delighted to introduce the ‘ECT pool’. This programme has been introduced in order to source early career teachers for schools within the Lancashire area. Last year we received a high volume of calls from client schools in order to source teachers who have recently finished their teaching training, to work on a ‘long term supply contract’ in school. We are looking to register a ‘pool’ of ECT’s who are looking to source their first teaching position. We have a number of schools who have expressed an interest in the programme and are hoping to source a candidate through this method.
We are looking for excellent ECT’s who are:
- Able to inspire and motivate children by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences
- Enthusiastic and creative in their approach
- Keen to contribute to our fantastic schools
- Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
- Able to provide references from teaching placements
The programme will enable you to be considered for work in a range of primary schools within the Lancashire area by simply registering with Teaching Personnel & joining the ECT pool. The majority of roles will be full time/long term.
The programme makes it easy for ECTs to find their perfect role with one application, leaving you time and energy to finish your training. If you are looking for a single way to apply for your first teaching post, please get in touch with a member of the primary team or apply with your CV. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’; this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For details of our privacy policy, please visit the Teaching Personnel website.
