Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:15pm
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school community near Garstang .
This is a full-time role , working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:15pm , starting 23rd February 2026 , for a fixed term of 12 months , with the view to transferring onto a school contract .
About the Role
This is an academic support role , where the successful candidate will:

Act as the main Teaching Assistant within a KS1 classroom

Provide high-quality classroom support to enhance teaching and learning

Support pupils both individually and in small groups

Help create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to support pupil progress
