We are seeking a committed, resilient and compassionate teacher to join our Secondary Alternative Provision supporting young people who require a personalised and therapeutic approach to education. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about re-engaging learners, building strong relationships, and making a genuine difference to pupils’ lives.

The Role

  • Teach and support secondary-aged pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs
  • Deliver engaging, adapted lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, families and external agencies
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional regulation and reintegration pathways

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or has relevant teaching experience
  • Has experience in PRU, AP, SEN or pastoral settings (desirable, not essential)
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Is patient, reflective and emotionally intelligent
  • Believes in restorative, trauma-informed approaches to behaviour and learning
