Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants for full-time roles in the Maidstone area starting in September. We are seeking passionate and resilient individuals who are looking for their next opportunity within education and who are committed to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Help manage behaviour positively within the classroom
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within an SEMH/behaviour setting
  • A Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (essential) (we can help you through this)
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people within education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
