The Role

  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development by:
  • Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
  • Supporting individuals and small groups to achieve their learning goals
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and day-to-day school activities

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education
  • Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience supporting children with SEND or EAL is desirable but not essential
  • Has a proactive approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
