We are looking for a passionate, creative and experienced Pre‑School Room Manager / Senior Practitioner to join a nurturing early years setting working with children aged 3–5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values a holistic and child‑led approach, with an interest in Montessori‑style education, creativity and supporting children in a caring, inclusive environment.

Working Hours:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:45 am – 4:15 pm
  • Potential additional hours: Saturday SEN provision shift 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

Pay & Contract:

  • Pay: starting from £15 per hour (inclusive of 12.07 % statutory holiday pay)
  • Contract: All year round with flexibility around holidays, temporary position with option to become permanent at a later date
  • Future progression: Potential for role to become full‑time as occupancy grows

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a pre‑school room with 6–8 children per session (capacity 16, expected growth to 12–13)
  • Support and develop staff, leading room and promoting a warm, nurturing and creative approach
  • Embrace a holistic ethos including vegan values and Montessori‑inspired learning
  • Create engaging learning experiences for the children
  • Support a supportive environment with another experienced manager to help training, development and upskilling
  • Shape and grow the pre‑school provision, maintain small group sizes for meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Opportunity for increased hours/full‑time role in the future

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous nursery/pre‑school experience (essential)
  • Child‑First Aid qualification desirable
