Teaching Personnel are currently supporting secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire who are looking to recruit experienced teachers to deliver targeted intervention and small group support in English and Maths. These roles are ideal for qualified teachers seeking a more focused teaching role outside of full classroom responsibilities, or educators looking for flexible opportunities within schools. Schools are looking for staff who can raise attainment, build student confidence, and support pupils through tailored intervention sessions ahead of GCSEs and key assessment periods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small group and targeted intervention sessions
- Support students in English and/or Maths
- Identify learning gaps and adapt support accordingly
- Build student confidence and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
- Support attainment and progress across KS3 & KS4
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
- Experience teaching English and/or Maths
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Passion for improving outcomes for young people
