Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire (DE7 and surrounding areas)
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Hours: Flexible daytime hours (8:00am–4:00pm, term time)
Are you passionate about helping learners build confidence in Functional Skills English and/or Maths? Do you enjoy delivering personalised 1:1 tuition and making a real difference? TP Tutors is currently recruiting dedicated Functional Skills Tutors to support learners across Ilkeston (DE7). Tuition is delivered on a 1:1 basis in learners’ homes or local community settings.

The Role
- Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills English and/or Maths sessions
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learner needs
- Build confidence and encourage independent learning
- Provide progress feedback where required
Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills English and/or Maths
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach
- QTS desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
