Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and passionate staff to join our team supporting SEN schools across Newbury. We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

  • Teaching Assistants (TA)
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)
  • Teachers (Qualified & Unqualified)

Start Date & Contract:

  • Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
  • Contract: Flexible roles – long-term, short-term, and permanent opportunities available

Settings and Age Range:

You will be working in supportive, specialist SEN settings that cater for children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
  • ADHD and associated behavioural needs
  • Sensory processing difficulties

Person Specification:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
  • (For Teachers/HLTAs) Qualified or unqualified — experience in SEN or education is desirable but not essential
